***Looking for my Authentique Paper challenge post and my GIVEAWAY? Look HERE***

The Introduction:
This is a stop on the Orange Blog Hop where members of the Fiskateers (a community sponsored by Fiskars) is sharing their passion for crafting.

If you are hopping along with us today: You should have come here from Sue in CT's blog. If you did, you are in the right place! Welcome!
If you aren't already a follower, I'd love to have you follow my blog!

If you are one of my regular readers: Thanks for coming back! I love having you! Please join along in the hop - you can start at the Fiskateers blog.

The Project:
I thought I would share how I created the customized scissors shirt that I wore to the California USF {United States of Fiskateers} Crop.
The whole project was less than $5!

Step One:
Gather your supplies.

You will need:
• Fiskars Scissors
• Fiskars Craft Knife
• T-shirt
• Fabric (orange, green, and gray)
• Iron-on Adhesive
• Iron
Template (adjust size as desired and print)

Step Two:
Cut a piece of iron-on adhesive big enough to cover each piece of the template, and iron it to the wrong side (back side) of the fabric according to package directions.

Step Three:
Trim off excess fabric, so all that remains is fabric backed with iron-on adhesive.

Step Four:
Trace or transfer template to your fabric and cut out. (I used my Fiskars Scissors to cut out the outer edge of the template and then used my Fiskars Craft Knife to cut out the holes for the scissor handles.)

Step Five:
Remove paper backing and iron it to the t-shirt according to package directions.

Step Six:
{I didn't do this yet...but I'd recommend it.}
Stitch around the ironed on pieces to add some detail and extra durability.

Step Seven:
Wear with FiskaSPIRIT!

Thanks for stopping by today!
