Love Life {Growing In Unity}

***Looking for my GIVEAWAY? Look HERE.***

Welcome to day 2 of my week as the Growing In Unity gal!

Stay tuned each day this week as I show you something I've created using stamps from Unity Stamp Company...and be sure to comment on each of my Growing In Unity posts this week because Unity Stamp Company is allowing me to give away some free stamps!

If you are new here or aren't already a follower: I'd love to have you follow my blog!
If you are one of my regular readers: Thanks for coming back! I love having you!

Today's card is again using basic supplies - cardstock, ink, and stamps...and I've added in a bit of misting as well.
To get this effect I die cut some cardstock with various butterfly shapes, laid those over my card base and misted with a few different colors.
I love this big sentiment from the Love Life stamp set. It is fabulously sized to make a BIG impression on a card...and I think it would also be great for those of you who scrapbook.

Thanks for stopping by today - and don't forget to leave a comment so you can win some stamps!

Enjoy This Day {Growing In Unity}

***Looking for my GIVEAWAY? Look HERE.***

Welcome to day 1 of my week as the Growing In Unity gal!

This week I am focusing on creating cards with minimal supplies - they will be simple to create, easy to produce in large quantities, and flat for easy mailing.

These cards were created using two leaf stamps I created for the COLOR of the Seasons - KOM (August 2012) - one stamped randomly in black ink and the other stamped in a single color of ink. (I created more with different colored leaves that aren't shown here.) Simply choose one of Unity Stamp Company's unique sentiments to top it all off and you can easily create a card set in a short amount of time.

Thanks for stopping by today - and don't forget to leave a comment so you can win some stampy goodness!

And, of course, I'd love it if you sign up to be a follower!

At the end of the week I will randomly choose someone to win the Tail Feather kit (shown below) AND any two Itty Bittys (winner's choice!) from Unity Stamp Company - to be sent to a domestic address only, please.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Discount Cardstock (Brilliant White 130#);
Stamps: Unity Stamp Company (COLOR of the Seasons - KOM August 2012, Enjoy This Day);
Ink: Ranger (Jet Black); Memento (Pear Tart, Rose Bud);

World Card Marking Day Blog Tour

Happy World Card Making Day!

As a card maker, of course I am fully behind a holiday celebrating card making.
Sadly, it seems that every year I have had previous obligations to be outside my home and have been unable to actually make a card on World Card Making Day.
This year is no different as I might actually be "homeless" on World Card Making Day - as I am typing this we are preparing to make our way across the country to our new town, but our belongings may not arrive for another few days after we arrive. Still, I wanted to join in on the fun by making this "Hello" card.

Thanks for stopping by - and be sure to check out the whole World Card Marking Day Blog Tour.

Road Trippin' {The Twinery}

Want to find out how The Twinery's twine is going to spice up our road trip?
Head on over to The Twinery's blog and check it out.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
Twine: The Twinery (Pink Sorbet, Mandarin, Peapod, Denim, Lilac, Charcoal);

Road Trippin' {The Twinery}

As you read this I (Tifany) am probably in the middle of hearing a repeat chorus of "Are we there yet?"
Our family is moving across the country (something like 2500 miles - yikes!), and we expect for it to take 4 (or quite possibly 5) days for the entire trip.
To prepare for the trip, I knew I wanted to have something that would be new and exciting for our three kids, but something that would not wear out its fun-ness after a day or two.
In order to do this, I've decided to start each new day with a little something...topped off with The Twinery's twine.
I've chosen two colors of twine for each of our three kids (Pink Sorbet and Lilac for our 8 year old daughter, Peapod and Charcoal for our 6 year old son, and Mandarin and Denim for our 3 year old son).
I used the twine to tie a day tag on each day's surprise - inside are simple things like stickers, activity books, and new chapter books for my two readers.
I have a feeling that these day bags are going to be a great hit on the trip...hopefully it will keep us all sane until we get there. :o)

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
Twine: The Twinery (Pink Sorbet, Mandarin, Peapod, Denim, Lilac, Charcoal);
Tools: Fiskars (Scissors, Scalloped Sentiment Border Punch, Upper Crest Border Punch, 1/8" Circle Hand Punch);

Grow {Market Street Stamps}

{As seen today on the Market Street Stamps blog}

For this card I wanted to use the image from the Market Street Stamps Grow set to look like doodles on a piece of binder paper. I stamped the Vintage Notepad background stamp with blue ink on white cardstock to create the "binder paper".
Once I had the background and "doodles" stamped I had so much fun coloring it in. I just love the way Kim added all those extra details that make coloring fun.

For this one I kept it sentiment-free...I think that the colored image is the star of the show and can be used for many different occasions.

Thanks for stopping by today!
