Season's Givings {Blog Hop - Year 7}

Welcome!
Latisha has brought some great
companies, designers, and friends
together again for a fabulous blog hop!
(Bonus: every single blog on the hop is hosting a giveaway!)

For those of you who may not know me or my company, my name is Tifany and I own Ink Blot Shop. I design clear stamps (made in the USA) for card making, Bible art journaling, bullet journaling, and more.
If you aren't already following Ink Blot Shop, please be sure to follow along on the @InkBlotShop Instagram account and the Ink Blot Shop Facebook page.

I am SO thankful for all the love that has been shown since I started my company, and I can never say THANK YOU enough. I wasn't really sure what to expect when I started off on my own, but the response has been incredible and I've been blessed with great friendships and wonderful opportunities because of it.

2018 was a crazy year - business (and "real life") kept me busy and I didn't have a chance to get crafty as much as I would have liked. I seriously fell off the blogging wagon (and I think I might have even just lost the whole wagon!), but I have tried to keep up my posting as much as possible over on Instagram

As a little peek back at the year, here are the top nine posts:

And my most recent creation - unfortunately, a set of much needed sympathy cards:

Discount:
Because I am SO grateful for all of the support, I wanted to do something in addition to the giveaway below. So, just enter code GIVE19 during checkout on any order at www.inkblotshop.com through 1/7/2019 for 19% off your order.

Giveaway:
And, of course, as a way to say a big THANK YOU for all the support I've been shown...I'd love to give away some of my sentiment sets to help you create cards for various occasions throughout 2019 (and beyond).

The giveaway includes the following four stamp sets:

To enter:
Leave a comment on this blog post letting me know if you have chosen a word to motivate you throughout 2019 (and, if so, what word). And...if you had a word for 2018, I'd love to know that, too!

If you would like additional chances to win:
Comment on any of the posts associated with this particular giveaway on the Ink Blot Shop Facebook page and/or the @InkBlotShop Instagram account.

Rules of this giveaway:
Comments for the giveaway will close Sunday, January 6th @ 11:59pm (Eastern) and the winner will be announced Tuesday, January 8th here on this blog.
- The winner will have 48 hours to contact me with their information.
- Due to shipping costs, giveaways are available to US mailing addresses only.

Please remember to check back to see if you've won.

Disclaimer: This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and/or Twitter.

every year, on Jam 1, i choose an angel card. Last year, my word for the year was "forgiveness" - honestly, i never did really figure out why, although it may have been about forgiving my body for its illness. This year, my angel card is Balance. Learning a new normal as i work my way back to health.

Katie Ann Brooks said...

loving all your stuff and thanks for the fun hop! Balance is my word.

Karen said...

Breathe is the word for this year.

For several years I had some pretty serious health problems (several surgeries and more hospital stays than I can count) but through it all my boyfriend kept telling me I had an Indomitable Spirit and that became our words to live by (literately). It truly took an Indomitable Spirit not to give up many times but I held on tight to those 2 words. Even though I am recovering well those 2 words will continue to be my mantra for 2019 an beyond. Here's to an amazing, wonderful, crafty, blessed 2019 for us all! :)

I haven't picked a word. I've never thought to do that before but now I'm going to need to think of one :)

This is the thing for this year. I have chosen the word PEACE FOR 2019.

I would love to win! This year I would like to be more organized in my time usage!!

My 2019 word is FAMILY. My 2018 word was LOVE.

I'm not one who does new years resolutions or words, but if I was pinned down for a word I think I would choose crafty, so I could focus on all my hobbies (which I have many, paper crafting, card making, sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, gardening and walking outdoors at sunrise)
Crafting means so many different things to me, and at the end of crafting I feel mentally, emotionally refreshed!!!
Happy New Year!

If I had to choose one word for 2019 it would be openness, to be open to things as they come and to keep an open mind about life. Thank you for giving me the chance to win some of your beautiful products

This year it is divide and conquer. Time to organize my craft room.

My motivational word for 2019 is: BELIEVE. I've committed to donate cards to a retirement home (21 people) each month. I started in August 2018 and want to continue doing so. I love that I'm brightening someone elses day or bringing a smile to their face.

Jean Maxwell said...

my word for 2019 is healthy. 2018 was a year of medical issues. Love your card!

Renee Joy said...

My word for 2019 is DECLUTTER (all my "Stuff") and my word for 2018 was REFORM (my Health Habits, Weight, etc)!

Thanks for sponsoring the Season's Giving blog hop! My word for 2019 will be experiment. Had already decided to set aside days to try particular designer styles or techniques, to see where the journey takes me! Or maybe that is diversify?

Kay D said...

I haven't really chosen a single word- I never really know what might motivate me from one day to the next. Those sentiment sets you are very generously giving away look awesome, btw!

Vivian Foo said...

My word is Enriching. 2018 was Inspiration.

My word for last year was "kindness", but I chose to keep it again this year to remind me to be kind, always, when blogging, posting, speaking, shopping, and everywhere I can. It's a good word for me and I like words that begin with "k" (lol). Thanks for the inspiration! A great prize! Happy New Year!

Boryana Yankova said...

My word is patience. I need to practise it more :)

Jen P said...

I haven't settled on a word yet. Last year I focused on think - before you speak, what you choose to do etc. Take time to think before making a choice.

Ruth Tacoma said...

No word for me, but I love your stamps! I have not seen your company before, but I love it! Off to check out your IG feed. :)

I haven’t chosen a word but I do want to get healthier in the new year and make things easier for myself to craft when I’m in the mood to, this includes trying to keep my crafty space more organized and clean up after myself when I’m done crafting so the next time I want to craft, I don’t have any obstacles in my way!

Thankfulness!

What a fabulous giveaway! Sentiment sets are some of my favorites, since they can go with any image. I'm really not into picking words for the year, though I have seen some good ones.

Debbie A Smith said...

I have to words this year- boundaries that I will set for my husband so I can stop falling into his traps and balance because I need to keep everything on an even keel.
I love your stamps with the craft supplies that Jennifer McGuire used. I have it on my wish list to purchase.

Karrie L said...

My word is gratitude. I want to remember to be greatful for all the many blessings in my life! I love your sentiment stamps!! Cute card design!

I had not thought about picking a word, looks like a good time to do so huh? perhaps it would be Courage, because I tend to shy away from things with the fear of "not being good enough".

Yes real life will get in the way of crafting, as it has in mine. My word will be compassion . . . both for my prodigal son and for my aging father whose Alzheimer's is making him more and more confused.

Thanks for sharing your projects throughout the year and Happy New Year to you. I've decided that my crafty motto for the year will be a phrase, "embrace the imperfection". Thanks for the chance to win.

My word for 2018 was Give and I was supposed to give more time and energy to people and things I value. It totally didn't work with a new job that I took so I realized 2019 my word needs to be Time. I need to give my TIME to what matters. Thanks for participating. I'm new to your shop- so now I'm going to go shop!!

I've never given any thought to a particular word to motivate me. Jesus is my motivation to "keep on keeping on". With him on my mind I am motivated to be kind and smile in nearly every circumstance. He is my peace and joy. If I had to pick a word for 2019 it would be either organize or prioritize. I seriously need to do both.

My word is Create--I hope to do a lot this year.
