Season's Givings {Blog Hop - Year 7}

Welcome!
Latisha has brought some great
companies, designers, and friends
together again for a fabulous blog hop!
(Bonus: every single blog on the hop is hosting a giveaway!)

For those of you who may not know me or my company, my name is Tifany and I own Ink Blot Shop. I design clear stamps (made in the USA) for card making, Bible art journaling, bullet journaling, and more.
If you aren't already following Ink Blot Shop, please be sure to follow along on the @InkBlotShop Instagram account and the Ink Blot Shop Facebook page.

I am SO thankful for all the love that has been shown since I started my company, and I can never say THANK YOU enough. I wasn't really sure what to expect when I started off on my own, but the response has been incredible and I've been blessed with great friendships and wonderful opportunities because of it.

2018 was a crazy year - business (and "real life") kept me busy and I didn't have a chance to get crafty as much as I would have liked. I seriously fell off the blogging wagon (and I think I might have even just lost the whole wagon!), but I have tried to keep up my posting as much as possible over on Instagram

As a little peek back at the year, here are the top nine posts:

And my most recent creation - unfortunately, a set of much needed sympathy cards:

Discount:
Because I am SO grateful for all of the support, I wanted to do something in addition to the giveaway below. So, just enter code GIVE19 during checkout on any order at www.inkblotshop.com through 1/7/2019 for 19% off your order.

Giveaway:
And, of course, as a way to say a big THANK YOU for all the support I've been shown...I'd love to give away some of my sentiment sets to help you create cards for various occasions throughout 2019 (and beyond).

The giveaway includes the following four stamp sets:

To enter:
Leave a comment on this blog post letting me know if you have chosen a word to motivate you throughout 2019 (and, if so, what word). And...if you had a word for 2018, I'd love to know that, too!

If you would like additional chances to win:
Comment on any of the posts associated with this particular giveaway on the Ink Blot Shop Facebook page and/or the @InkBlotShop Instagram account.

Rules of this giveaway:
Comments for the giveaway will close Sunday, January 6th @ 11:59pm (Eastern) and the winner will be announced Tuesday, January 8th here on this blog.
- The winner will have 48 hours to contact me with their information.
- Due to shipping costs, giveaways are available to US mailing addresses only.

Please remember to check back to see if you've won.

Disclaimer: This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and/or Twitter.

Wonderful card. I love the sentiment and awesome stamp design. I love bible journaling. My word or daily thought is to Thank God for another day and guide me throughout the day. My 2019 word is Believe.. It can be for many things. Happy New Year hope your year is blessed.

SusieScrapper said...

I didn’t have a motivational word last year and don’t have one for this year yet. I’m leaning towards organized, I really need to be more organized. Happy New Year! 🥳

Cathy Lillie said...

Happy New Year! I believe this is the first time I've been on your blog; I'm always excited to learn about new companies. My word for this year is Healing. The past year (really the past two) have been extremely difficult for me health wise and emotionally. I'm hoping I can get my medical issues under control and I want to craft more to help me heal my mind and my soul. I'm so ready for the new year. Thank you for offering such a generous prize for the hop!

HeatherB said...

No word to motivate me for 2019, but I do have some resolutions posted on my blog. I hope to find more time for "me" with my young family and feel less rushed, more relaxed when I craft.

Alma Dirpaul said...

My word is HOPE. I am new to your blog.

Pat Gasko said...

My motivational word for 2019 is actually two words; "Take Time". Ink Blot Shop has been a fairly new blog for me and I've enjoyed seeing all that you offer.

Paula Ganyard said...

My word for 2019 is CREATE. I chose it this year because it can be used for ,any parts of my life, which has been pretty mundane lately. I can create art through stamping, sewing, or playing piano. I can create opportunities for myself and others at work. I can create new memories with family and friends.

Denise Mills said...

My word for 2019 is organize

~amy~ said...

What beautiful projects. Love your sympathy set too.

I hadn't really thought of a word for 2019 but the last couple of stops have asked for crafty goals and I've been consistently typing 'being more organized' so there it is: organized

Melissa Smith said...

I don't know if I really have a word to keep me motivated, but the word I've mentioned a lot lately is healthy. I've got to be healthier, so I can be happier, so I can help others. I guess I have three H words...Healthy, Happy, Helping! I hope you have a happy New Year!

Fe Orot Mejia said...

I came across your company some time back and I really love your designs. My word for 2019 is ACTION. 2018 has been a rather tough year and I am determined to make 2019 much better. Only way to do it is by taking massive ACTION!

I just sawon Selma Blair’s IG, someone recommending this to her instead of resolutions to choose a word to try and model your year around. So I chose two, patience and understanding. Had a lot go on at the end of this year and I think everyone could benefit from those two words!

My word for 2019 is stronger. After going through the devastation and continued re-building efforts of Hurricane Michael here in Panama City, FL. I have decided that I and my family will be stronger in the coming year(s). We will make our relationships stronger, as we do not know what can happen next. We will strengthen our faith, as we are nothing without our God who has continued to bless us. I hope you all will grow in strength as well. ❤

Hmmm... I did not have a word for 2018 and I'm thinking of my word for 2019... something to remind me to let people know I'm thinking of them... if I think it say it... well... the good stuff anyway...lol! Speak? Share? Share... I think that will be it. It will be my reminder to actually mail out the many cards I make. Let everyone know that I love them and value them and what it is about them that I love. Yeah... that's it. Thanks for the inspiration! You are new to me and I need to check out your stamps, but I love what I see so far! Congrats on your venture! Oh! And thanks for the sale and chance to win! Happy New Year!

I am not good at these words, I chose one last year and I cannot even remember what it was... if I have to choose it one it would be FOCUS because I truly need to keep my focus on God and trust Him. Sometimes He brings us to that point where all we can do is trust in Him so that we can regain that focus that we so easily lose or it becomes blurred. It has been a hard year, but that being said, I still have an abundance of things to be grateful for.

I think the word that I am going to embrace this year is "imperfection". I need to remind myself that imperfections(especially crafty ones) are just fine and it all does not need to be perfect every time!

Peggy said...

My word really needs to be organize, I really need to work on it in all parts of ,my life but especially in crafting!

Angie Lee said...

I had a word for 2018 which was full of a lot of personal loss....BREATHE...
This year's word is likely going to be RELEASE.

Tiffany said...

I saw one commenter's word was "imperfection" and I would totally steal it, but instead I'll choose "act." I often think I need to think through everything before I can start a project or task, but sometimes you just have to dive in!

Abbey said...

My word is present to remind myself to unplug.

I don’t have a word for myself for the New Year but it sounds like a good idea. 🙂
Happy New Year to you.

For 2019 my word will be "peace". My family extended family is going through a difficult time and my daughter will be headed to college in the fall. I am proud of my daughter and her hard work but he house will be so different without her. I need to find peace with this as well as peace with whatever the outcome is with the other situation.

for me it has been the same word for 27 years... kids... my kids bring out the best in me, make me want to be a better person and I have the joy and honor of being mom to 3 wonderful kids, two who are special needs... so my word will continue to be Kids, because that word motivates me...

I have a phrase. Just make it. I need to stop admiring my pretty supplies and start using them. I appreciate your sympathy cards. I think they are the hardest cards to make.

Thanks for the chance to win. I didn't choose a word this year or last year - but I've chosen words in the past

Lisa's Creative Niche said...

Balance... I started full time again this year and it's been hard getting everything done all the time.

Unfortunately sympathy cards are used frequently and are not always a favourite card to make so I enjoyed seeing your inspiration. My word for 2019 is complete!

I've been doing a word for the year since 2008 and I love the impact it has on my life. 2018 was "renew" and it guided me beautifully. 2019's word is "intentional" and I have great hope for the power of that word. May God bless you with an incredible new year.Cori (who is no longer in West Texas) cdscrappin@aol.com

I have never had "a word" but now you've inspired me and I think my word will be "hustle". Last year I was busy all the time, but didn't feel like it was time well spent. I think the word "hustle" implies being busy, but in a "get it done" and effective sort of way!

You have caught me off guard, without a word...I've had to sit and think and pray a few moments--"compassion" was revealed. I have a 92 year old mother whose dementia is increasing daily. I need to find deep reserves of compassion for all my interactions with her. Thanks for this exercise!

I didn't have a motivational word last year, except maybe Create, since it was my first full year of making cards. This year my goal is to be Consistent. I want to join a Design Team next year (2020), so I want to be more Consistent in posting my creations. I've been pretty good at posting on Instagram since I joined, but I really need to get my blog updated and posting those creations there.
