Life Is Beautiful {Market Street Stamps}

{As seen today on the Market Street Stamps blog}

This sentiment from the Life Is Beautiful set is so fun all on it's own...so I wanted to make it take center stage.

I did a little bit of coloring with my Copics and placed it on a die cut panel that would really draw your eye right in.
There are a lot more great sentiments in the Persimmons Studio line from Market Street Stamps - be sure to check them out!

The Project:
For this card I used the awesome Doily stamp. I actually took the stamp and very carefully cut it into two parts (shhhh...don't tell Angelica!) so that I can use the inner circle, the outer ring, or put them together to use it as it was originally created.

I stamped the inner circle and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Once the embossing was set I went over the whole panel with Distress Stains. When they were wiped away it left the image underneath. I added a little bit of shimmery mist and then stamped the outer ring a few times with watermark ink.
To finish it off I added the sentiment from Simple Salutations and assembled my card.

Block Party {Market Street Stamps}

It's time for another...

{Be sure to head on over to the Market Street Stamps blog to get all the details about how you can join in on the Block Party...where you can win some fabulous free stamps and have a shot at being a Guest Designer for Market Street Stamps;">!}

You can create ANYTHING for this challenge...no color requirements, no specific project types...just have fun.

For this one I've created a canvas - I used the Grace background stamp and stamped it with paint all over a canvas (it lines up nicely to do a little overlapping to get a continuous look).
Paint doesn't allow the nice details in the stamp to show up, but I still love the effect it gives.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Stamps: Market Street Stamps (Grace);
Paint: Plaid (Green, White); Marvy (Black - Paint Pen);

New Stamps! {Unity Stamp Company}

I've got some new stamps out with Unity Stamp Company!

The first two are Itty Bittys that have just been released.:

I also have a few images and sentiments in the newest Stamp of the Week and Kit of the Month:

{Sentiment by Joslyn Nielson}
It is so fun to see what the Unity DT created with these. Check out the samples HERE.

{Kit also includes sentiments and images by Joslyn Nielson, Angie Blom, and Tracey Malnofski}

If you don't own any stamps from Unity Stamp Company, you are missing out. They are red rubber mounted on cling foam and they stamp so beautifully. You don't need to be a "stamper" to get a great impression with these.
Be sure to stay connected on the Unity Stamp Company Facebook Page - the owner (Angela) LOVES to host great sales...and Facebook is often the first place you will hear about it.

Thanks for stopping by today - and happy 4th!
