The Details:

The Project:
I created a tag set with the new Market Street Stamps Honeycomb background and a sentiment from the Market Street Stamps Essential Holiday Elegance set.
The Honeycomb background naturally lends itself to a color palette featuring yellow, but I went with yellow and black on these tags for two reasons:
1 - I thought it would be fun to create tags that coordinate with the decorated gift jars I recently created.
2 - My mind went a little "punny" and when I was looking at the "Eat, Drink, & Be(e) Merry" sentiment I immediately thought it would be fun to do something "bee" themed.
I did a simple mask to merge the sentiment and background into one piece and then added a tape top border and finished them off with some twill and twine.
These tags were fairly simple to create and would be easy to mass produce. They would be fabulous attached to jars of homemade goodies or even honey. :o)
Thanks for stopping by today!

I wouldn't have thought to use the honeycomb stamp for a holiday card...and you did it so well. I guess that's why I follow the blogs instead of posting one of my own, haha!
